It appears I've taken the entire month of November off. Not much to report and I've taken a break from the bike (and it shows).
November has been a nice "de-tox" month. De-tox meaning settling down from all of the running around. Gone for awhile is the constant on-the-go activities. It's been nice having only 1 night a week away from the house instead of 4. Because baseball and basketball coaching seem to overlap into a 6 month long affair, I did choose (w/ good counsel from Jodi) to step away from coaching basketball for one season. I hope I can stand while still standing by and watching Colin from a different side of the court. The lone busy night continues to be Tuesday's with Civil Air Patrol. That's still enjoyable, even with a wave of "people" issues of late.
It's been nice to work with Colin on homework (not so sure it's nice for him) and read book's with Lauren. There's not too many moments more special than your daughter bringing her blanket and book to you, then climbing on your lap for a read.
