When is it too much?

Reflecting upon all of the stuff that we were involved in this past weekend, it seems exhausting just thinking about it. I've heard the expression: "I needed the week to start to get a break from the weekend". That feels solidly on target about now.

Both sets of grandparents are now gone, including my folks transitioning back to MI from the winter in FL. They were on-hand for Colin's First Communion. It was a fantastic day for him. The highlight for him was dinner at his favorite Japanese Steak House and having the grandparents watch him play baseball.

So we got through 2 of those baseball games and the festivities on Sunday. Then another baseball practice last night. As manager the recording constantly feeding through my head is "remember that they're 7 and 8 year-olds, remember that they're...".

That's a lonely pile of mulch in the backyard waiting to be spread.

Next is mildly busy work-week with, yes, a baseball game Friday night. The different twist Saturday is handing over the team to someone else while our CAP squadron participates in a Search & Rescue Evaluation proctored by the USAF. Now if the weather holds.

Early bedtimes are the remedy this week.

I need to get back to the early bedtime mode also. Hang in there Manager Mike.

Thanks. It might be more than just sleep. Very draggy, like I've got a virus.
